- I’m running for School Board because I feel a responsibility to
serve the community by bringing my experience, leadership abilities and
ideas to the district at this crucial time.
-
- Our school community is at a crossroads. It is a time for healing and
transformation as we welcome a new superintendent and reconstitute the
board. I am ready to help lead the district down this new road. As a school
board member, I will make you three promises:
- To build positive relationships with my fellow board members, district
leaders and staff.
- To make decisions based on strategic goals and priorities, using
a clear and transparent process, considering what is best for all
students across the district, while ensuring financial stability and
oversight.
- To maintain open lines of communication, gather regular input on
community priorities, and provide clear information to parents and
residents.
-
- My top three priorities:
- Support academic and enrichment programs benefiting all students
based on their needs;
- Make decisions based on long-term planning and strategic priorities,
emphasizing financial stability and oversight;
- Take a lead role in seeing that the social and emotional well-being
of students, teachers and administrators are given much-needed attention.
